Your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and developing events and entertainment, including live music, themed events, and student focused activities
- Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of events and live music performances across NUSU venues
- Acting as a key operational contact for student societies, internal teams, artists, promoters, and external event organisers
- Coordinating event logistics, including room setups, stage and technical requirements, schedules, and supplier arrangements
- Assisting with operational planning for live music gigs, entertainment events, and student celebrations
- Ensuring events comply with health & safety, licensing, and operational procedures
- Liaising with venue, security, technical, and facilities teams to deliver events effectively
- Working with the finance team to ensure purchase orders, invoices, and payments are processed correctly
- Providing administrative and operational support to the wider Commercial team
- Helping create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for performers, organisers, and attendees
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced events environment, enjoys working with people, and wants to play an active part in creating and delivering exciting events and live entertainment for students.
