About the role
Our Lady of Grace and St Edward’s Parish, Chiswick, is seeking a highly organised and personable Office and Property Manager to support the Parish Priest and wider parish community.
This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of parish life. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the parish office, coordinating communications and events, and managing property and health & safety matters across three parish sites, including our twinned parish, St Joseph’s Grove Park.
You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, well‑organised and supportive environment that enables the parish to fulfil its pastoral, liturgical and community mission.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contactfor the parish office, welcoming visitors and responding to enquiries with professionalism and compassion
- Coordinate parish communications, including the weekly newsletter, Mass sheets, notices and website updates
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including diary management, correspondence, filing, record‑keeping and financial administration
- Manage parish hall and meeting room bookings, liaising with the Centre Manager and promoting facilities to community and commercial users
- Support the organisation of liturgical ceremonies and parish events, including baptisms, weddings and funerals
- Oversee and coordinate property management and Health & Safetyacross multiple sites, working with diocesan services, contractors and estate agents
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, cash handling and diocesan policies
What We’re Looking For

- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong attention to detail
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently
- Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgement
- Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher; website updates via WordPress)
- Experience in an office management or executive administration role
Experience working in a faith-based or charitable setting is welcome but not essential.
