Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for an OCW Field Officer to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. As OCW Field Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in providing day‑to‑day administrative, operational and coordination support to the OCW department. This includes assisting with orphan documentation processing, basic monitoring of programme activities, supporting communication between HQ and field teams, and ensuring timely updates in OCW systems. The role supports programme implementation. It also focuses on execution of assigned tasks, data preparation, and supporting reporting requirements.

Key duties and responsibilities of theOCW Field Officer:
- Support coordination of OCW programme activities across assigned countries or regions.
- Assist in collecting orphan profiles, documentation, visit reports and required updates.
- Follow up with field teams to ensure timely submission of information and compliance with assigned tasks.
- Maintain updated tracking sheets for documentation and reporting status.
- Ensure accurate data entry and updates in OCW systems, including Salesforce.
- Maintain clean and organised digital records aligned with OCW data standards.
- Flag inconsistencies, delays or risks for review.
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual internal reporting cycles by compiling requested data.
- Prepare first-draft summaries, evidence packs and documentation inputs for donor or internal reports.
- Ensure all documentation is properly filed, archived and retrievable for audits.
- Prepare logistics, documentation and background information for field visits.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, including coordination with Donor Care, Systems, Finance and other internal teams
- Assist in following up on assigned action points from OCW team meetings.
- Execute tasks assigned by the Head of OCW.
- Uphold safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality standards at all times
What we’re looking for in ourOCW Field Officer:
- Education:Bachelor degree, ideally in a related discipline, Social Sciences / Business Studies / International Relations, etc.
- Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills:Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Languages:Excellent written and spoken English. Good spoken Arabic is preferred.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector

- Safeguarding bright futures for more than 22,000 vulnerable orphans in 9 countries. Our one-to-one sponsorship programme has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials.
- Pioneering technologically innovative infrastructure projects in Pakistan, like designing and building a 25-km embankment on the Chenab River in Pakistan. - Recovering lost livelihoods for vulnerable farmers in Gaza by planting 80,000 olive trees since 1991. The farming project provides each farmer with 30-40 prime olive trees so they can establish a vibrant, sustainable crop that yields not just food but income for generations.
- Restoring safe and secure residential spaces in Syria, like the construction of a new town with 1,000 newly constructed homes in Al Zahoor.
