Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for two OCW Field Coordinators to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. As OCW Field Coordinator, the successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the operational implementation of the Orphan and Child Welfare (OCW) programs around the globe. This role will ensure accurate record-keeping, facilitate communication between departments, local office in around the globe, and external implementation partners, and ensure compliance with program policies and procedures. The OCW Field Coordinator will also play a critical role in ensuring effective data management and coordinating communication between field staff and the OCW Programme Manager. The Field Coordinator will significantly contribute to improving the overall effectiveness of the OCW initiatives.

Key duties and responsibilities of theOCW Field Coordinator:
- Coordinate all OCW field operations around the globe, ensuring alignment with program objectives and report to OCW Programme Manager
- Oversee the accurate input of updates into the Salesforce system, ensuring timely generation of feedback reports for donors to enhance engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with field staff to maintain up-to-date records of orphans, including profiles, progress reports, and documentation.
- Support the OCW Field Assistant and field staff in achieving program targets, providing guidance and resources around the globe.
- Review and update relevant procedural documentation according to program requirements.
- Participate in meetings as requested by the OCW Program Manager and ensure follow-up on decisions made.
- Monitor the implementation of program policies, guidelines, and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance across field operations around the globe.
- Assist the OCW Programme Manager in exploring new opportunities for the expansion of the OCW program around the globe based on donor interests and community needs.
- Handle weekly and monthly reporting responsibilities, providing timely reports to the OCW Programme Manager and other departments as requested.
- Facilitate a minimum of 2 field visits to each orphan per year, ensuring guidelines for data collection and updates are clearly communicated to field staff beforehand.
- Assist the OCW Programme Manager in liaising with relevant partners to address gaps or errors identified during reconciliation processes between Payment Proofs and Funding Agreements.
- Follow up Mid-Year and End-Year field visits, oversee the OCW field staff to ensure proper and accurate data update.
- Coordinate with the Donor Care Department to address donation-related issues.
- Provide timely reports to other departments as requested, utilizing database information.
- Support the OCW field staff in achieving program targets and meeting deadlines while ensuring effective data management.
- Oversee the field staff to maintain up-to-date records of sponsored orphans, including profiles, progress reports, and documentation.
- Support the OCW Programme Manager by ensuring that orphans are visited regularly and that their updates are accurately input into the Salesforce system to generate timely feedback reports for donors.
- Undertake other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Programme Manager to support the success of the OCW program.
What we’re looking for in ourOCW Field Coordinator:
- Education:Bachelor degree, ideally in a related discipline, Social Sciences / Business Studies / International Relations, etc.
- Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills:Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Language:Excellent written and spoken English. Additional languages is a bonus.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector

- Safeguarding bright futures for more than 22,000 vulnerable orphans in 9 countries. Our one-to-one sponsorship programme has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials.
- Pioneering technologically innovative infrastructure projects in Pakistan, like designing and building a 25-km embankment on the Chenab River in Pakistan. Protecting an entire community from being washed away, the embankment has held back the floods each year, including Pakistan’s worst flooding in a decade during its last monsoon season.
- Protecting the health of mothers and their children in war-torn Syria by running the only free maternity hospital in Idlib, Syria. By offering free medical care to vulnerable mothers and children, our staff at Al Imaan Hospital providing life-saving care to 100,000 patients every year.
- Quenching the thirst for the 2 million residents of the Gaza Strip by working with UNOCHA to purify Gaza’s water network. And now, our newest project involves building a large-scale desalination plant to provide daily access to clean water for 60,000 people across Gaza.
- Recovering lost livelihoods for vulnerable farmers in Gaza by planting 80,000 olive trees since 1991. The farming project provides each farmer with 30-40 prime olive trees so they can establish a vibrant, sustainable crop that yields not just food but income for generations.
- Restoring safe and secure residential spaces in Syria, like the construction of a new town with 1,000 newly constructed homes in Al Zahoor.
