Nursery Practitioner – Maternity Cover (one academic year)
Queen Elizabeth’s Nursery School are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner to cover maternity leave.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Be a proactive member of a staff team who provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which babies and young children are supported and encourages to achieve their full potential
• To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the setting
• To implement the daily routine
• Be able to work within a team and be able to communicate well with both staff and parents
• The successful applicant will be responsible for observations and learning journals and must be IT literate
Essential requirements of the post: one of the following qualifications: NNEB DIPLOMA, BTEC Diploma in Childhood Studies, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare and Education.
38 hours per week on a full-time basis.
Hourly rate of pay at the National Living Wage.
Start Date: 1st September 2026 (subject to all pre-recruitment checks being completed) until 13th July 2027
