Nursery Practitioner – Casual Bank Staff

Queen Elizabeth’s Nursery School are looking to appoint Nursery Practitioner – Casual Bank
Staff to join our team providing outstanding childcare. This is a flexible, as-and-when-required
position, offering work to support our staffing needs during busy periods, staff absences or
special events.

The successful candidate will be required to:

•  Be a proactive member of a staff team who provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive
environment  in  which  babies  and  young  children  are  supported  and  encourages  to
achieve their full potential

•  To  provide  a  high  standard  of  physical,  emotional,  social  and  intellectual  care  for

children placed in the setting
•  To implement the daily routine
•  Be able to work within a team and be able to communicate well with both staff and

parents

•  The successful applicant will be responsible for observations and learning journals and

must be IT literate

Essential requirements of the post: Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare.

Salary: real living wage currently £12.71ph (from 1 September 2026 - £13.45ph)
