Location: Milton Hospice - CB24 6AB

Hours: 24 - 37.5 hours per week

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 16 days at 23:59 BST.

Full-Time & Part-Time applicants considered - Minimum 24hrs per week

Our service is provided in a 24/7, 365 day environment; shifts include weekend & Bank Holidays

Shift Pattern:

Our standard shift structure is 12 1/2 hour shifts (includes unpaid break)

  • Day Shift - 7:30am-8:00pm
  • Night Shift - 7:30pm-8:00am
  • Homecare Shift - In the community (Hours vary)

Enhanced Rates - Weekends, Evenings & Bank Holidays

  • +30% Saturdays & Evenings
  • +60% Sundays & Bank Holidays
  • Competitive on-call rates

Permanent Contract

£32,073 - £48,117 FTE per annum, dependent on experience

EACH Care Salary Band: 5/6

Appointment to Band 5 or 6 is based on nursing skills, experience and knowledge

All the training and development required to deliver children’s palliative care including:

  • Bespoke palliative and end of life care, clinical skills and long term ventilation training programmes
  • Support to attend external training opportunities
  • Participation in quality and safety groups

Regular clinical, safeguarding and management supervision to support your professional development.

The support you need to enable you to provide safe and effective care and support to the children and their families who use our service.
