Work pattern: 14 hours per week

Salary: Up to £11,381.60 per year

Responsibilities of our Neutering Support Advisor:

Provide vital support to branches, centres, community teams, and vet practices.

Responsible for offering clear guidance on voucher schemes, welfare packages, and neutering processes, while helping to resolve day today queries

Help maintain accurate data records, ensuring teams have the information they need to make informed decisions. This is a varied, rewarding role for someone who enjoys problem solving, supporting others, and working in a busy operational environment

About the Neutering Support team:

The Neutering Support team is part of the Cat Welfare & Operations Directorate.

Team of advisors and a Neutering Support Team Leader that provide front-line non-scripted support and advice to the public, Cats Protection employees, external partners, vets, and volunteers on the charity’s neutering programme

Facilitates the smooth running of the neutering department.

What we’re looking for in our Neutering Support Advisor:

Strong communication and customer support skills

Excellent organisation and attention to detail

Comfortable working with data, systems, and process driven tasks

A collaborative, positive approach to working with dispersed teams

A passion for animal welfare and Cats Protection’s mission

Proven experience in a contact centre environment

Proficiency across multiple customer service platforms: phone, email and social media

Excellent telephone manner and communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to manage difficult customer interactions and resolve issues empathetically

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to work independently and perform accurately under pressure
