Job Description

Location: Postholders will cover specific geographical areas and will need to live within the regions they support. We are recruiting roles to cover the South East, and London, therefore postholders will need to live within reasonable travel distance in these areas

Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. Through our national network of charities, we give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.

The role

As a Network Development Partner you will be part of the new Network Development & Assurance capability, working closely with our network of local Citizens Advice to grow our network mindset and deliver our service missions. . You’ll collaborate with leaders in local offices to assure them against our recognised and accredited member standards,support them to deliver their strategic plans, manage risk and build their sustainability, capability, capacity and resilience.

The team ensures our Local Citizens Advice organisations are supported to thrive and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and communities. You’ll deliver targeted development interventions, facilitate continuous improvement and ensure local offices meet our member standards. Through building trust with leaders across the network and strengthening relationships with them, you’ll help to cultivate a purpose-driven, impactful and sustainable network.

We are recruiting for 1 permanent position to support our local offices in the South East. We also have a vacancy to cover London on a fixed term contract until April 2027. We are open to considering external secondment agreements from local Citizens Advice offices or other organisations if the successful candidate's employer will consider this.

  • Experience of working within a membership or federated organisation, an understanding of network theory and working with a network mindset
  • Experience of leading organisational development or transformation initiatives and, driving innovation
  • Demonstrable experience of project management with measurable outcomes
  • Understanding and application of quality standards, accreditation, or compliance frameworks

Please note that if you were successful in being shortlisted for the role we will hold the first round of telephone interviews planned for 26th March 2026. Successful candidates from that round will progress to face to face interviews held at our London office on 13th April 2026.

The National Citizens Advice operates from offices in England and Wales, with 4 regional offices based in Cardiff, London, Birmingham and Leeds, therefore all successful applicants must be based within England or Wales.
