Netball Graduate / Undergraduate Assistant

Christ’s Hospital is looking to appoint a Netball specialist graduate or undergraduate to join its sports Department. The successful candidates will be expected to coach netball as a primary sport, but will also offer support in cricket, athletics, swimming, rugby, hockey, football or basketball. The successful candidate will also be required to assist with the administration of a busy sports Department in a vibrant boarding school. This is a temporary position, initially for a period of one academic year, commencing 31 August 2026, but could be extended for a further year by competitive process for the right candidates. Successful Graduate Assistants in the past have gone on to take on further teaching roles, PGCE or SCITT training or moved into sports performance.

The successful candidates will assist with the delivery of the Activity for Life and PE programmes, working with professional sports coaches and PE staff across all age groups, from Year 7 (second form) to Year 13 (Grecians). They will also be well-qualified and capable graduates / undergraduates on a placement year with an enthusiasm for coaching Sport within the framework of an independent co-educational boarding school.
