The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and mosque community-driven Fundraising manager for the North & South of England who is passionate about our cause and motivated to make a difference.
This is a target-based role where success will be measured by monthly fundraising income, donor engagement, and outreach activities. The candidate must be proactive in building networks, driving donations, and ensuring consistent growth in their assigned area.
The successful candidate will:
- Build strong relationships with local mosques, community organisations, businesses, donors, and supporters.
- Raise awareness of IHHN’s work and campaigns within the community.
- Support fundraising activities to generate vital income for free healthcare projects.

- Build and maintainstrong partnerships with mosques, community organisations, and local groups to support fundraising initiatives.
- Plan and delivercommunity fundraising campaigns and collections, particularly during Ramadan and other key Islamic periods.
- Coordinate the distributionof campaign materials, including leaflets, posters, and promotional resources across community venues and events.
- Support the planning and deliveryof fundraising events, awareness campaigns, and public engagement activities.
- Organise and manageIndus Health Network UK information and fundraising stalls at community events and exhibitions.
- Recruit, train, and coordinatevolunteers to support fundraising and community engagement activities.
- Provide administrative supportfor fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, and event coordination.
- Represent Indus Health Network UKat meetings, events, presentations, and community gatherings, including public speaking where appropriate.
- Monitor and reporton fundraising performance, donor engagement, partnerships, and community outreach through regular progress reports.
- Undertake any other dutiescommensurate with the responsibilities of the role as required.
Targets & Expectations
- Achieve minimum monthly fundraising income targets (to be set upon appointment).
- Secure regular donors (Direct Debits/Standing Orders) through outreach.
- Expand community engagement by developing new partnerships each month.
- Actively grow the volunteer network in the assigned area.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- A’ Level / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent – Desirable
- Islamic Studies training or equivalent knowledge – Desirable
Experience
- Proven experience in community engagement, fundraising, or sales – Essential
- Ability to deliver against income or sales targets – Essential
- Public speaking and community presentations – Essential
Skills & Abilities
- Goal-oriented mindset with ability to meet/exceed monthly targets – Essential
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills – Essential
- Strong organisational and time management abilities – Essential

- Understanding of Urdu, Punjabi, Bangla, or Arabic – Desirable
