Monitoring & Evaluation Lead
Overview
Future Men is a charity supporting boys and men through practice-led services that promote positive masculinity and address structural inequalities. The organisation is expanding and is looking to appoint a Monitoring & Evaluation Lead to strengthen impact measurement, quality assurance, data systems, and organisational learning.
The role is part-time 28hrs per week (0.8 FTE), hybrid in London and reports to the Operations Director.
Salary: £32,928 (FTE £41,160)

Key Purpose of the Role
To work with department leads to review and improve the organisation’s impact, evaluation and quality assurance functions— ensuring programmes are effective, data-driven, compliant, and aligned with Future Men’s mission. The role will also contribute to decision making, support fundraising, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the charity.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Work with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to agree, develop and deliver an organisation-wide impact and evaluation strategy.
- Embed a culture of learning, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
- Support SLT with strategic planning where appropriate.
Quality Assurance
- Work with SLT to develop and oversee quality initiatives.
- Use accurate data to help SLT address delivery issues
Impact Measurement & Evaluation
- Design, analyse and suggest appropriate evaluation frameworks and tools.
- Work with managers to strengthen impact evidence for partnerships and funding.
- Support managers to review programme cycles.
- Train staff in data protection and evaluation methods.
- Provide data to support funding bids.
Advocacy
- Translate evaluation insights into advocacy priorities.
- Measure the impact of marketing and social media on advocacy goals.
- Encourage data competency amongst relevant colleagues
IT Systems & CRM (Airtable)
- Work with delivery teams to review and update structural design and rollout of Airtable CRM.
- Chair the Airtable Working Group.
- Develop interfaces, automations, training materials and conduct audits.
- Explore safe, compliant use of AI in evaluation.
Data Protection & Compliance
- Longer term possibility to act as Data Protection Officer and support the charity with GDPR compliance, risk management, and appropriate data sharing agreements.
- Support staff with data protection queries.
Operations & Finance
- Contribute to budgeting for impact and quality assurance.
- Attend budget reviews and support reporting to funders.
Reporting & External Engagement
- Produce compelling impact reports for funders, partners and trustees.
- Ensuring CPD in monitoring and evaluation; where appropriate updating FM processes to maintain best practice.
- Promote cross-team collaboration.
Person Specification
Essential
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in impact evaluation, quality assurance, CRM oversight, GDPR compliance
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire, collaborate, innovate and manage competing priorities.
- Commitment to Future Men’s mission and values.
- Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, the Board and partners
Desirable
- Third sector experience.
- Training in data protection.
- Experience applying AI in evaluation.
- Partnerships with academic or research institutions.
- Knowledge of youth, family or social policy.
