Citizens Advice New Forest (CANF) are looking for two full-time Money Wellbeing Advisers to join our Hampshire Debt Project team. This project is funded by the National Lottery, to help meet the increased demand of people dealing with the cost-of-living crisis.
As a Money Wellbeing Adviser, you will provide high-quality money advice to people across Hampshire facing financial challenges. You will help individuals understand their options, build the skills and confidence to take control of their finances, make informed decisions about their future and improve their mental wellbeing. Clients will have already received in-depth debt advice, and you will help them break their cycle of financial difficulty and struggles with debt.
We are looking for candidates who are:

Passionate about helping vulnerable people overcome financial challenges

A good listener, able to understand an individual’s needs and come up with solutions that will help them get to grips with their finances

A great communicator, full of empathy and able to work with people struggling with their current situation

A self-starter with a can-do attitude

Knowledge of the Citizens Advice network is desirable but it’s not essential – we value relevant experience and a commitment to making a difference
