The project’s innovative, person-centred approach was recognised with the Kent Healthwatch Recognition Award 2025 and continues to transform lives across Kent.
As a Money & Mental Health Caseworker, you’ll become a trusted source of support for vulnerable clients, helping them navigate complex financial situations, maximise income, reduce debt, access benefits and regain control of their lives. You’ll take a holistic, trauma-informed approach, working alongside healthcare professionals, support services and community partners to achieve meaningful, long-term outcomes for clients.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Deliver specialist debt and welfare benefits advice
-
Manage a varied caseload of clients with complex needs
-
Advocate with creditors, statutory agencies and support services
-
Help clients access benefits, grants and financial support
-
Build trusted relationships with people experiencing mental health challenges
-
Work collaboratively with health, social care and community partners
-
Support clients to improve their financial resilience, wellbeing and independence
We’re looking for someone who:
-
Has experience delivering advice, casework or support services
-
Understands debt, welfare benefits or financial capability issues
-
Can build rapport with vulnerable clients and work in a compassionate, person-centred way
-
Is organised, resilient and able to manage a varied caseload
-
Shares our commitment to tackling poverty, inequality and social exclusion
Why join us?
You’ll be joining a supportive, ambitious organisation where your work has a direct and measurable impact on people’s lives. Every day you’ll help individuals who may feel overwhelmed, isolated or unable to move forward, providing the practical support and advocacy that enables them to achieve greater stability, confidence and wellbeing.
If you’re passionate about combining technical advice skills with compassion, persistence and creativity, we’d love to hear from you.
