About the role

Bradford and Airedale Citizens Advice & Law Centre is a leading provider of legal advice and information, supporting thousands of clients every year. We are a busy, client focused and dynamic service with a track record of delivering high quality advice face to face and over the phone.

Our communities are facing unprecedented challenges with rising costs. The rising cost-of-living continues to directly impact individuals and families, with more people than ever in negative budgets and experiencing personal debt. Our teams provide support and empower vulnerable clients to manage their income, maximise income and assess their best strategies and options to address debt issues long-term.

This is an exciting new role within the money advice team, working alongside advisers to carry out a range of activities that assist the client through their debt advice journey, including progressing their case after they’ve received advice.

Money Advice Support Officers also provide general administrative support such as dealing with incoming and outgoing post, managing SMS, e-signatures and electronic document upload requests, accepting and making referrals, ensuring records are updated in line with policies, liaising with clients and third parties.

Please be aware that Bradford and Airedale Citizens Advice & Law Centre are not a sponsoring organisation. Therefore, the successful applicant must already possess the right to work in the UK or be able to secure the right to work in the UK independently. Verification of your right to work will be undertaken for successful candidates.
