Job Description

Job Title: Modern Apprenticeship - HousingContract Type:  Apprentice Salary: 
£10.85 for Apprentices under the age of 21 which equates to a full annual salary of £19,747.00
£12.71 for Apprentices aged 21 and over which equates to a full annual salary of £23,132.20Working Hours: 35 hours per week, full time Working Pattern: Monday to Friday Location: Scotland Reg Hub, Irvine

This apprenticeship combines practical workplace experience with formal learning, leading to a recognised qualification in Housing (SCQF Level 6). It is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who is passionate about helping people, keen to develop professional skills, and motivated to make a positive impact across our communities. A mixture of online and in person training will be provided by SHARE who will support you through the Programme and learning.About you 
We are looking for someone with 
•    Three National 4 qualifications or equivalent (one of these qualifications must be in English)
•    Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

•     Provide general support to Tenant Partners and the wider Housing Team.
•    Assist with customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring a helpful and professional response.
•    Support tenancy management activities, including sign ups, estate inspections, and customer engagement visits.
•    Help maintain accurate customer records and update housing management systems.
•    Contribute to community engagement projects and initiatives that improve neighbourhood wellbeing.
•    Work with colleagues to identify and escalate tenancy or property issues such as repairs, anti social behaviour, or support needs.
•    Participate fully in all required learning activities, assessments, and training sessions to successfully complete the apprenticeship qualification.What You Will Learn

•    Work towards an accredited qualification – Housing SCQF Level 6 (with CIH Level 2 in Housing)
•    Receive regular supervision, coaching and development discussions.
•    Take on increasing responsibility as skills, confidence and knowledge grow.
•    Contribute to ideas for improving processes as experience develops.Additional Information
•    This is an entry level role designed to support skills development in a supportive team environment.
•    All tasks will be supervised, with gradual progression based on learning and capability.
•    The role will be exposed to sensitive information; therefore, you are expected to uphold data protection and maintain levels of confidentiality and record keeping standards at all times.
•    The role holder is expected to work in line with health & safety, policies and procedures.
•    In order to fulfil the requirements of this role, you will be required to work flexibly during the hours of operation.

Person specification Knowledge, Skills and Experience  Essential 
•    Three National 4 qualifications or equivalent (one of these qualifications must be in English)
•    Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
•    Positive attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Basic IT skills (or commitment to learn), including email and Microsoft Office.
•    Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
•    Organised, reliable and able to manage simple tasks with guidance.Desirable 
•    Interest in working within a customer focused housing environment.
•    Some prior volunteering, school, or workplace experience in a customer facing environment.
