Mission Enabler

Mission Enabler

Harrington, Distington and St Mary Westfield

The Diocese of Carlisle is looking for an experienced Mission Enabler to join the story in Workington Deanery where much has been developing in recent years. Over the past few years we have seen both Parish and community engagement increase with new worshipping communities developing alongside familiar church. We are seeking an experienced leader in creative mission to be part of telling the next chapter of this story.

In collaboration with the Priest in Charge of these Parishes, this role brings together innovation and ministry experience. We are seeking a leader who has experience in developing new responses to culture and faith alongside a person with gifts and abilities in the leading and raising up of others to do the same. You will have a particular charism to be able to do both.

We encourage you to prayerfully discern whether this role could be for you and to join us in enabling this part of Cumbria to continue to flourish with many more people growing to be all that God has made them to be.

This is a part time position at 0.5 FTE.

Salary £36, 842 FTE plus 15% non-contributory pension or an ordained candidate could choose to remain in the Church of England Clergy Pension Scheme.
