| Summary of the role | Walthamstow Hall operates a range of routes for collecting anddropping pupils from home to School and vice versa.We are looking for a Minibus Driver to transport pupils on theSchool's fleet of buses. The role includes driving pupils to andfrom Schools, pick-up/drop-offs on our assigned routes, after-school activities, and school trips. |
| The post involves | Driving pupils on an allocated route, collecting anddropping to and from School in a timely manner.Abiding with current law and always ensuring the safetyof passengers and inform the Bursar/Transport Managerof any incidents immediately.Always ensuring the safeguarding of passengers incompliance with current legislation.Ensuring parents, pupils and staff are always treated withpoliteness and courtesy.Being responsible for daily checks of allocated vehicle andreport any defects or non-compliance to theBursar/Transport Manager immediately.Keeping the vehicle clean throughout.• Undertaking training as required. |
| Skills and Qualifications | • Hold a DI Driver licence (essential). Must be 2I years of age and under 70 (essential). Anydriver over the age of 70, confirmation from the School'sInsurer is required.Must have held a clean, full licence for a minimum of 12months before being eligible for assessment (DIendorsement).Knowledge and experience of basic vehicle maintenance. |
