About the Role

MAP is seeking an MHPSS Specialist (Team leader) to lead the delivery and quality of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) services within mobile clinic communities in the West Bank. The role holder should provide technical supervision and capacity building for the MHPSS team, oversee programme planning and implementation, and ensure effective case management and referral pathways. The job holder also strengthens community engagement and partnerships to promote accessible, high-quality MHPSS services.

The role requires a valid professional license**

About You

The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Psychotherapy or a related field, together with a valid professional license issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The candidate should have experience in delivering and supervising MHPSS programmes, including technical leadership, staff mentoring, and the management of complex cases. A strong understanding of international MHPSS standards, the Palestinian mental health system, and referral pathways is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, planning, and report-writing skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships and work confidently in challenging humanitarian settings.
