About the Role

MAP is seeking an MHPSS Specialist/Psychologist who will be responsible for developing and implementing community-based mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) activities for mobile clinic communities. This includes planning and leading group MHPSS sessions, conducting individual assessments and interventions, and facilitating the participation of community members. The Specialist will also deliver and evaluate Psychological First Aid (PFA) training, identify complex cases for referral, and ensure appropriate follow-up. Additionally, they will document and report MHPSS activities, ensuring compliance with ethical standards such as confidentiality and informed consent. 

About You

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in

psychologyand avalid MHPSS licensefor the West Bank. They have experience inpsychological support, particularly in humanitarian contexts, and expertise incommunity-based MHPSS interventionswith children and adolescents. The candidate is knowledgeable inethical standards,case management, andreferral processes. They also have cultural sensitivity and strong communication skills in Arabic and English, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
