Merchandise Assistant

The Piece Hall are looking to recruit a number of enthusiastic Merchandising Assistants to assist the Merchandising Team during The Piece Hall’s Live at The Piece Hall 2026 series.

The role will involve the set up and and organisation of stock at the venue in a presentable manner, effective communication with the touring team and key stakeholders, being responsible for visual merchandising, ensuring the merchandise stand remains clean and tidy and that displays remain attractive to customers, being responsible for inventory tracking and managing merchandise assets on site, and providing excellent customer service for customers.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous experience in a customer-focused environment, has previous experience in cash-handling and visual merchandising, and stock control experience. We are looking for an individual who is friendly and welcoming, has the ability to stay calm during high-pressure situations, has the ability to work as part of a team or as an individual where required, has excellent time management skills, and a genuine passion for The Piece Hall.
