Media Relations Manager

As our Media Relations Manager you will have a huge impact on Cycling UK, helping to generating awareness of the charity and its work, changing perceptions and communicating the positive impact cycling can have on people’s lives, as well as managing Cycling UK’s reputation through crisis communications. You will manage the press office (including day to day, out of office press and crisis communications) and lead on the creation and implementation of media relations plans, building effective relationships with journalists in support of Cycling UK’s aims and objectives.
You don’t need to be a cyclist to work at Cycling UK, but you do need to have a strong commitment to our work. Working closely with the Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications and Director of External Affairs, you will develop and implement Cycling UK’s media relations plans to communicate the impact of our work, connecting different audiences to our mission to support organisational influence, reputation and income through effective earned communications.
