We are currently recruiting for a number of match day ticket office staff. These roles will provide excellent customer service and ticketing support to Peterborough United supporters, ensuring a professional, efficient and welcoming experience on matchdays.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Ticket Office team, assisting supporters both in person and over the telephone, processing ticket sales and resolving enquiries while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Typical working hours are approximately 12:00pm to 3:30pm for weekend fixtures and 5:00pm to 8:00pm for midweek fixtures, although hours may vary depending on kick-off times and operational requirements.
- Provide a professional, friendly and efficient service to all supporters and customers.
- Sell match tickets, season tickets and other ticketing products using the Club's ticketing systems.
- Assist supporters in person and over the telephone with ticketing enquiries and purchases.
- Process ticket sales accurately and in accordance with Club policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection legislation and Club policies at all times.
- Ensure supporter records are maintained accurately and updated where required.
- Provide information on fixtures, ticket availability, memberships and other Club products and services.
- Identify opportunities to promote relevant Club products and services where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues across the Club.
- Maintain awareness of Club policies, procedures and best practice, including safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support the operation of the Ticket Office.
- Good IT literacy and confidence using computer-based systems.
- Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm, professional and accurate in a busy matchday environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible in relation to matchday working hours.
- Commitment to delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Previous experience in a customer service, retail, ticketing or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of football ticketing systems.
