Mass Participation Events Officer
The following vacancy has arisen within the Fundraising Department who play a significant part in raising £6 million each year through voluntary income.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Event Organiser to become part of the ambitious Events Team at LOROS. As Mass Participation Events Officer will be responsible for some of our biggest and most well-attended events, including the LOROS Twilight Walk, the Run Leicester Festival and the Rothley 10K.
You will be commercially minded; bringing fresh ideas to our established LOROS events and campaigns in order to help increase participation and profit, as well as championing the experience to ensure that people spread the word and come back year on year. You will need to match the passion we have for events and bring a drive and willingness to succeed.
To be successful, you will have excellent organisational skills, a great eye for detail, initiative and must be able to work well under pressure. You must have experience of managing multiple projects at the same time and be able to identify and mitigate risk in order to deliver safe and successful events.
The ideal applicant will be passionate, committed and results driven with a great work ethic. They will have experience of delivering running-based events and be willing and able to work long hours over specific, pre-determined weekend and evenings during busy event periods.

22.5 hours per week | Salary £14,929.20 per annum pro rata (£24,882 FTE) / £12.76 per hour
Clinical Administrator/Co-ordinator

7.5 hours per week - between Monday- Sunday / £12.71 per hour
(Overtime to be worked when required to cover holidays. Travel to other local shops for cover may also be required).

Salary £10,124.40 per annum / £12.98 per hour
15 hours per week (2 full days flexible from Monday to Sunday. Must be available to do overtime when manager is on annual leave to cover shop).
