Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Location*: London Office with flexible home-working arrangements

Working hours: A full time, 40 hour working week, typically starting at 09.00, Mon-Fri with a paid hour for lunch.

Notice period: 1 month

Salary: £ 30-35k pa

Purpose of role

The Marketing Executive will report to the Head of Marketing and will work closely with other members of the company to support in developing and execution of growth strategy marketing plans that support the company's commercial objectives.

Primary KPIs:

  • Contribution to acquisition targets and growth in revenue

  • Campaign delivery to set deadlines

  • Email engagement metrics (open/click rate improvements)

  • Event lead capture volumes

Key responsibilities:

  • Support in the developing and execution of marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, liaising with production teams to gather key messaging to develop and execute marketing initiatives.

  • Support in the delivery email marketing communications as part of marketing strategy

  • Help create and maintain marketing materials, including sales collateral, presentations, and website content

  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and use data to drive continuous improvement.

Planning

  • Liaise with Programme and Insight/Development Teams to understand what is needed and how best to communicate with different subject teachers

  • Contributing ideas and best practice to the overall marketing strategy

 Delivery

  • Delivery of marketing activity as per the plan liaising with product managers to gather key messaging for content creation and copy writing

    • Newsletters

    • Transactional and promotional emails

    • Printed materials

    • Social media

  • Obtain sign-off from Commercial and Programme managers

  • Brief the design team to create materials, with an eye for design

  • Collaborate with colleagues in other teams to create design and videos for marketing content

  • Demonstrate strong copywriting skills for creating marketing copy

  • Utilise marketing technology including DotDigital, SurveyMonkey, Canva and Social Media Scheduling Tools to create engaging marketing campaigns and analyse usage and user data to inform marketing activities

  • Deliver effective and compelling marketing collateral for conferences and exhibitions (attendance at events also required)

  • Support the wider team with creating presentations and documents.

  • Use of project management tools to track progress and ensure timely completion of tasks
