Push the Boat Out: Edinburgh’s International Poetry Festival is a platform for poetry, spoken word and performance, with an emphasis on bringing poetry into conversation with other art forms. PTBO offers a high-quality mid-scale festival which promotes poetry as an exciting, diverse and dynamic artistic medium and contributes to the rich cultural mix of Edinburgh in progressive and developmental ways. It also delivers a growing year-round programme with a range of workshops, podcasts and events. Their engagement programme spans both working to bring poetry to communities and supporting their creativity.

They are seeking an exceptional freelance Marketing & Communications Manager. The role will give the right candidate the opportunity to create and deliver the overall marketing strategy, annual festival campaign and promote year round events, contributing to the growth and profile of one of Scotland’s most exciting young organisations all year round. You will ensure that the festival and our year-round programme are enjoyed by the broadest possible audience.
