Marketing and Communications Manager
Yorkshire Sculpture International, Leeds Part Time (21 hours per week)

Salary: £20,400 per annum (£34,000 FTE)
Yorkshire Sculpture International (YSI) is a partnership between four cultural institutions based in West Yorkshire: Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Art Gallery, The Hepworth Wakefield, and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dynamic team, working closely partner institutions to develop YSI’s digital presence, and raise awareness of initiatives and sculpture activities within the network.
The role will be predominantly based at Henry Moore Institute, Leeds city centre, with a proportion of time spent at other YSI venues. This role also requires regional travel across West Yorkshire.
YSI are seeking a dynamic and creative individual with a proven track record of delivering campaigns and digital projects ideally within the cultural sector. The successful candidate will have:
- a broad knowledge of marketing and communications
- the ability to develop strategies, create compelling content and maximise engagement across a range of platforms
- well-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- a flair for producing engaging content
- good knowledge of the current media landscape
- confidence in developing digital platforms, such as website content management or customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- an understanding of design tools

Volunteering
Volunteering with one of our teams offers first-hand insight into the work of one of the world’s most notable sculptors, and the chance to experience the day-to-day operation of an international arts organisation. Our volunteers help us to continue Henry Moore’s mission to encourage public appreciation of the visual arts.
There are currently no vacancies for volunteers at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds.
Volunteer gardeners
Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, Hertfordshire
Recruiting volunteer gardeners to help maintain the sculpture gardens at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens.
The gardens were designed by Moore and his wife Irina, they are predominantly rural in appearance and comprise approximately 70 acres of ponds, hedgerows, orchards, sheep fields, woodlands, lawns and a small kitchen garden.

Our staff are based across our two sites in Yorkshire and Hertfordshire. Most roles allow for some level of hybrid working.
Henry Moore Institute, Leeds
Work in a city-centre venue with a stimulating programme of free exhibitions and events, as well as an invaluable sculpture research library and archive of sculptors’ papers.
Staff based at the Institute focus on the wider fields of contemporary, historical and international sculpture.

Plan your visit – Studios & Gardens
Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, Hertfordshire
The site of Henry Moore’s family home and estate in rural Hertfordshire, where we display Moore’s monumental sculptures, preserve his former studios spaces, and maintain the Henry Moore Archive.
From here, our team curate and preserve Moore’s legacy, and devise imaginative exhibitions of his work around the world.
