Salary: £35,000 pro rata + completion bonus
Hours: 30 hours per week
Location: Minstead, Nr Lyndhurst, New Forest, Hampshire

To support a major programme of software and systems updates, we’re looking for a proactive and motivated Management Accountant to join us on a fixed‑term basis. This role is essential in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while our core team focuses on long‑term improvements.

The role:

As a Management Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller with a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and leadership commentaries
  • Planning and managing the annual budgeting cycle
  • Producing regular cash flow forecasts to ensure financial stability
  • Conducting variance analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve performance
  • Supporting year‑end audit preparations
  • Partnering with department managers to help interpret financial data and advise on project implications
  • Maintaining internal financial policies, systems, and risk management processes

About you:

You’ll be a qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CPA) with:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial software
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non‑financial managers
  • A collaborative, solution‑focused approach
