About the Role and Responsibilities:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking Management Accountant to join our established Finance team and play a key role in supporting the Centre’s financial health. This is a fantastic opportunity for an AAT qualified (or equivalent) accountant who enjoys variety, thrives on collaboration, and wants to make a real impact within a charitable organisation.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of delivering accurate, insightful monthly financial reporting and work closely with departments across the Centre to help them understand their performance and make informed decisions. You’ll be a trusted partner to budget holders, supporting them with forecasts and analysis.
You’ll also contribute to improving our processes and systems, helping to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance function.

Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a trusted business partner to commercial departments, providing clear financial insight, guidance on pricing and profitability, and support on operational decision‑making.
- Produce accurate and timely month‑end reporting, including Day‑2 reporting and monthly management accounts, complete with meaningful variance analysis and tailored commentary.
- Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards that highlight performance trends, uncover opportunities, and enable leaders to make data‑driven decisions.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, collaborating with department heads to ensure robust, well‑informed financial plans and reforecasts.
- Drive improvements in processes, systems, and data quality, ensuring strong financial controls, reliable reporting, and seamless integration between operational and finance systems.
- Prepare income settlements for long‑running productions and support year‑end, audit processes, and ongoing financial compliance.
- The successful candidate will be eligible to work on a hybrid working arrangement after an initial training period has been completed.
Your role will be subject to a basic DBS check
Key Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have a solid accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent) and strong experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data manipulation.
- The candidate will bring proven capability working within multi‑income‑stream environments, confidence using systems such as XLedger, Tessitura, Tevalis, and advanced Excel skills to support robust reporting.
- Clear communication is essential, as the candidate will translate complex financial information for a range of stakeholders and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Collaboration, accuracy, and a proactive approach to delivering high‑quality financial insight are key to succeeding in this role.
