Please note in regards to location this role is peripatetic to be based  in South West or Central England. Frequent travel will be required across the area.

The Salvation Army Finance Team are looking for an Management Accounts Assistant (Division) to join their team. You will support & assist the provision of business support, to an allocated portfolio of corps (churches) to ensure financial control and effective decision making. A large element of the role will be working with non-financial budget holders, providing training and assisting them with finance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the support of corps officers, finance locals, corps in their financial admin
  • To complete the admin & regular tasks within the team
  • To assist in the organisation of budgets, year end & other key areas
  • To support the performance of charity shops, cafes and similar activities of the corps
  • To support the wider finance team as required

Successful candidate will have: 

  • Ability to travel flexibly as required
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience in a Business Admin role
  • GCSE Maths at grade C or above
