Clean Team Member (Evening)

Up to £26,707.20 pro rata per annum18 Hour Contract

As part of the Nuffield Clean Team at our gym, we’ll expect you to organise your work and plan your time with assistance from a Team Leader to ensure that cleaning never gets in the way of a customer’s experience. You will use the latest cleaning equipment, products and this will be supported by a first-class training programme. You have a friendly nature and good communication skills, which will come in handy when you’re interacting with colleagues and customers.

Working Hours (18 Hours per Week)

• Regular

  weekday evening shifts:8:00pm – 11:00pm

• One

  weekday shift per week:5:00pm – 11:00pm

• Flexibility required to provide

  additional coverfor:

  • Day shifts

  • Evening shifts

  • Weekends

    (cover only, not part of your regular rota)(to support annual leave and operational needs)

Key Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas, including:

• Gym floor and equipment

• Changing rooms and toilets

• Poolside and wet areas

• Studios, reception, and communal spaces

• Follow all

  health & safety, COSHH, and infection control procedures

• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Carry out routine checks and report:

• Maintenance issues

• Health & safety concerns

• Support periodic deep cleaning tasks

• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure excellent member experience

Essential Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work set evening hours

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Flexible to cover additional shifts when required

• Good communication skills

• Willingness and ability to

  complete and pass a First Aid course(provided by the company)

Desirable

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience

• Experience in a gym, leisure, or healthcare environment

• Understanding of COSHH and safe cleaning practices
