You'll Learn To:

  • Support planned maintenance on machinery and equipment.

  • Help identify faults and assist with repairs.

  • Gain experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering tasks.

  • Update maintenance records and job information.

  • Support improvement projects and equipment upgrades.

A Typical Day Could Include:

  • Assisting engineers with breakdowns and repairs.

  • Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance checks.

  • Learning how to diagnose faults safely.

  • Helping improve machine performance and reliability.

  • Attending college, training sessions and development activities.

  • Working closely with production and engineering teams.

Training to be provided

We will support you through: Skills England Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship Future progression to HNC and higher qualifications.

  • L2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing (Foundation Competence). L3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competencies) Mechatronics Maintenance Technician.L3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge).
