Do you come alive when you’re outdoors, surrounded by curious young minds and the magic of the past? Do you love creating unforgettable experiences for children—especially the kind that involve adventure, imagination and a dash of Roman history? If so, this role has your name on it. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creative Lunt Roman Fort Camps Coordinator (Fixed Term) to bring our legendary children’s camps to life. Set within one of the UK’s most atmospheric heritage sites, this is your chance to turn history into hands‑on fun and help children make memories they’ll talk about for years.
What You’ll Be Doing – Planning and delivering our Lunt Roman Fort camps packed with immersive activities; outdoor exploration and playful learning; as well as supporting other Learning & Engagement activities across our museum venues when camps aren’t running.
Why You’ll Love This Role – You’ll spend your days outdoors, in a unique heritage setting that sparks imagination; you’ll work directly with children—guiding, encouraging and inspiring them and shaping experiences that blend creativity, culture and adventure.
What We’re Looking For – Someone who thrives working with children and understands how to engage them in fun, meaningful ways; a natural organiser who can juggle logistics, people and activities with confidence; a team leader who brings out the best in others; someone who loves being outdoors and isn’t fazed by the unpredictability of heritage sites.
