Lunchtime Supervisor Vacancy

We are seeking to appoint a lunchtime supervisor with experience of working in
the early years. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed to
provide a positive lunchtime experience and who will work alongside a friendly
and hard-working team.
The post holder will:
- Be a reflective and flexible practitioner;
- Be patient in supporting children to develop their self-care skills;
- Be committed to providing an inclusive lunchtime experience;

- Bring vision and enthusiasm to lunchtimes;
- Communicate and work effectively with the lunchtime team.
Teach children Islamic etiquettes around eating;
The setting has safer recruitment procedures in place and potential candidates
agree to rigorous background checks before an appointment is made. The post
holder will be on the DBS update system or be willing to undergo a DBS check.
The post holder will support the setting’s Safeguarding and Inclusion Policies and
Procedures.
The post holder must be interested in working in an Islamic environment and
upholding our Islamic ethos.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential –
Level 2 full and relevant childcare qualification
Experience working with children in a professional capacity
Desirable –
Level 3 full and relevant childcare qualification
Level 9-4 (A*-C grades) in GCSE English
Min. 1 year plus experience working in an Early Years Setting
First Aid / Safeguarding / Food Safety Training
8.75 hours per week, term time only –
Hours:
Mondays to Fridays 11:30AM – 1:15PM
Salary:
Circa £5073/annum (39 weeks + 5.6 weeks annual leave)
