    Main duties of the job

We are looking for a Consultant who is passionate about equity in end-of-life care. You will have the opportunity to lead clinical excellence while proactively reaching "harder to reach" groups, such as the homeless community, through research, audit, and education. Supported by our multi-lingual advocacy team and modern day-hospice facilities, you will ensure our specialist services are accessible to all.

    Key Requirements:

    - Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.

    - On the Specialist Register for Palliative Medicine (or within 6 months of CCT).

    - A demonstrable commitment to inclusive practice and cultural competence.

    - On-call 1:8 weeknights and weekends

Join an established, forward-thinking Palliative Care team at St Joseph's Hospice. This role is primarily community-based, with inpatient ward cover, serving the vibrant and ethnically diverse population of Newham, Tower Hamlets, City, and Hackney.
