We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and people-focused Locality Fundraisers to build lasting relationships within local communities and inspire people to support the hospice through fundraising activities, events and partnerships.

About the Role
As a Locality Fundraiser, you'll become the face of Saint Catherine's Hospice within your allocated geographical area. You'll work with schools, businesses, community groups, clubs, faith organisations and individual supporters to develop exciting fundraising opportunities and grow sustainable income.
No two days will be the same. One day you could be attending a village fete, supporting a charity challenge participant or visiting a local business, and the next you'll be planning community campaigns, thanking supporters or developing new fundraising partnerships.
Working closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Marketing and Communications plus our amazing volunteers, you'll play a key role in helping us achieve our fundraising ambitions while delivering an exceptional supporter experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building strong relationships with community groups, schools, local businesses and supporters.
- Inspiring individuals and organisations to organise fundraising events and activities.
- Supporting participants taking part in fundraising challenges and third-party events.
- Representing Saint Catherine's Hospice at community events, festivals and local initiatives.
- Managing collection pots and other community fundraising activities.
- Maintaining accurate supporter records using our fundraising database (Beacon).
- Working with colleagues to identify and share inspiring supporter stories.
- Delivering excellent stewardship to ensure every supporter feels valued and appreciated.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- A confident communicator who enjoys meeting and engaging with people.
- Passionate about making a difference in the local community.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects.
- Creative, enthusiastic and proactive in identifying fundraising opportunities.
- Comfortable working independently while also being a supportive team player.
- Competent using IT systems and databases.
- Flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends to support fundraising events.
This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use.
