Local Health and Wellbeing Lead

Salary: £27,763 per annum
Are you an energetic and enthusiastic person with an interest in health and wellbeing looking for a truly different and rewarding role?
We have an exciting opportunity working alongside autistic people, your role will be to support people’s understanding of their own health and wellbeing, to improve their Quality of Life.
You will be working across the Liverpool area, working with our local teams, developing opportunities for increased connections for the people we support.
Within the role you will be:
- Planning and delivering fun and engaging group activities for people with autism
- Developing opportunities for increased movement
- Exploring opportunities to build social connections
- Working directly with people on a 1:1 basis
- Establishing and developing external connections and professional relationships
You will be responsive to the needs of the people we support, creative, self-motivated and confident within your delivery of support.
Good communication, an ability to listen and understand the perspective of others, and to work as part of a team are also essential in this role.
Proficient IT skills, such as word and excel in order to support good record keeping will also be essential.
*As a requirement of the role is travelling across the region it is therefore essential that you have your own vehicle and hold a full, clean driving license.
This position requires an enhanced disclosure from Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of which will be met by Autism Initiatives.
