Lifeguard / Front of House
Location: Ross-on-Wye
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time (20 hours per week)

This is a dynamic dual role where you will be the face of our centre. You will balance the vital responsibility of poolside safety with the high-energy environment of our reception desk. Whether you are ensuring a safe swim or providing a warm welcome at the front door, you’ll be essential to our customers' experience.
As a Lifeguard, you will:

Provide safe supervision of the pool area and prevent accidents.

Respond quickly to emergencies, performing rescues and first aid when required.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional poolside environment.
As a Front of House Assistant, you will:

Provide a professional welcome and helpful information to all visitors.

Efficiently handle bookings, memberships, and general enquiries.

Process payments accurately and maintain high customer service standards.
We operate a 4-week rolling rota to help you plan your work-life balance.
- Hours:20 hours per week.
- Shifts:A mixture of early and late shifts.
- Weekends:Working 2 out of every 4 weekends.
- Operating Times:Mon-Fri (5:45 am - 9:15 pm) | Weekends (7:45 am - 1:30 pm).
- Qualification:A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is preferred. However, if you have the drive, we may provide training for the right candidate.
- Personality:A proactive, "can-do" attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Composure:The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Experience:Previous customer-facing experience is a plus, but not essential.
