Corpus Christi College, Oxford is seeking a part-time, fixed term Library Assistant to join the Corpus Library team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in both the medieval library space, and the adjoining 21st Century Spencer Building. The Library Assistant has a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the Library. This post has primary responsibility for processing items ready for the shelves, and has an active role in collection management. The Library Assistant shares responsibility for providing an effective and efficient Reception Desk service, assisting readers, overseeing circulation activities, and managing associated administrative tasks. The Library Assistant has an active role in supporting the work of the library team, and should be able to balance progress on long-term projects with day-to-day demands of the post.

This post is part-time (up to 15 hours per week over Thursdays and Fridays); the post is fixed term for 10 months.

The College offers, in addition to the salary, free meals when on duty and the Kitchen is open, 24 days leave plus 5 days compulsory leave (all pro rata) over the Christmas break, plus Bank Holidays, enhanced family friendly policies, and a contributory pension scheme also form part of the package.
