Fixed Term Contract: 19 May to 6 November 2026
We are looking for an LFF Expanded Project to work with the Director of Festivals Business and Production and XR and Immersive Programme Lead to manage and oversee the project and production planning and logistical delivery of the BFI London Film Festival Broader Screen programme across both public-facing and industry-facing components.
BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.
What you’ll do
- Lead on the delivery of the festival’s public-facing XR, Immersive Art and videogames installations, through design, build and live event, in close collaboration with the Director of Festivals, Business and Production, XR and Immersive Programme Lead, partner venues and production partners.
- Lead on the delivery of the festival’s industry facing activity for broader screen, including showcases, talks, and networking events, working in collaboration with Director of Festivals, Business and Production, XR and Immersive Programme Lead, and the Industry Programme Manager.
- Manage the whole Expanded programme of projects cohesively taking into consideration the programme as a whole and the practical and aesthetic design of projects within the venues.
- Liaise with artists to ensure their works are presented to the highest of standards, taking consideration for any special requirements and ensuring these are communicated and factored into the overall design and production of installations.
What you’ll bring
- Extensive demonstrable experience within exhibition and art management in a large festival, event, gallery, or cultural environment.
- Extensive demonstrable experience managing multiple immersive production projects at once and overseeing a cohesive programme of projects.
- Demonstrable experience of overseeing and delivering high-profile XR, Immersive Art/Theatre or Videogames exhibitions.
- Excellent project management skills, required to ensure the project milestones are met and progress is kept on track.
