About the role:
The Legacy & In-memory team is responsible for inspiring new and existing audiences to support Sue Ryder by including a gift in their Will and developing the in-memory programme to give supporters a range of options to donate in memory of a loved one. As the Legacy & In-memory Executive, you will deliver and support on campaigns to reach agreed objectives, manage relationships with external agencies and internal teams and provide admin support to the wider Legacy & In-memory team.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning, delivery and evaluation of multi-channel campaigns across telemarketing, digital and mail, to schedule and to budget.
• Contribute and support the planning of supporter journeys, developing process guides, updating letters and assisting in the creation of any marketing collateral required.
• Track the success of Sue Ryder’s free Will partners, making recommendations for improvements, developing collateral and managing queries from colleagues and supporters.
• Lead on the delivery of the legacy training programme, delivering face to face training, supporting in the development of online training tools, and championing organisational wide knowledge of the importance of legacies & in-memory.
• Support in the smooth running of the Legacy & In-memory team through managing administrative processes such as expenditure, raising purchase orders and tracking invoices.

Essential Criteria:
• Experience of working in a marketing or fundraising environment with knowledge of marketing and/ or fundraising principles, evaluation metrics and KPIs.
• Experience of working with databases
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
• Experience of working within a team and collaborating with other departments within a directorate
• Experience of working with third party suppliers and managing relationships
• Knowledge of developing marketing materials and copy for print, web and social media
• Ability to think innovatively and make processes more efficient.

Desirable Criteria:
• Knowledge of legacy and/or in memory giving (Desirable)
