    We are seeking a candidate for a position as supply lecturer in the Counselling team, to work alongside academic colleagues as part of the delivery of our HNC/HND courses. You will be based at the Inverness College main campus

    This roles presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic person who enjoys teaching and learning to join an experienced and diverse team. You will be required to deliver curriculum in an innovative manner with a focus on best practice in the teaching of topics relevant to your role. You will be required to be an effective team member able to deliver a high quality curriculum and educational experience

    You do not need to have a teaching qualification to apply as training will be provided, however some experience of instructing or teaching is welcome. You should possess effective interpersonal skills and have good IT skills in applications such as MS Office and other relevant subject related software packages.

    You will have a minimum of a diploma in counselling, member of BACP, or willing to become registered and accredited. Candidates should currently be practicing and competent to teach the blend of skills appropriate to the rationale and philosophy of the course

    Please note, the successful candidate will be subject to a PVG Disclosure Scotland and other background checks.
