- Job Summary
Bede's Trust requires an experienced and supportive individual to join the Learning Enhancement Department as a Learning Support Assistant at our Prep School.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the learning of children in a year group from Reception to Year 6, with a particular focus on pupils with emerging or identified special educational needs. They will collaborate with the class teacher and Head of Learning Enhancement to support the planning and delivery of high quality adaptive teaching for all pupils.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who will be working with our Head of LE to build a strong knowledge of pupils with SEN and how they learn, to help maximise the progress of all pupils in the class. They will lead 1:1 or small group interventions to support speech and language, literacy, numeracy, fine motor skills and study skills.
This is a Permanent, Part Time, Term Time only position, working 33 weeks per year, 37.5 hours per week, consisting of 08:00 - 16:00, Monday - Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break per day.
Offering an attractive pro rata salary between £16,669.13 - £18,562.50 per annum plus holiday pay dependent on experience (£28,094 - £31,285 Full Time Equivalent) along with a range of employee benefits including:
