DESCRIPTION

Warminster School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic team player to join the Senior School Learning Support department as a Learning Support Assistant. We are a mainstream school with a range of pupils with learning differences. Learning Support Assistants play a vital role within the school and are integral to supporting pupils on the SEN register to access learning and achieve their potential.

As a thriving, community-spirited boarding and day school, we provide an exceptional all-round education for pupils aged 2–18. In the Sixth Form, pupils can choose between A Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and we are also one of the few schools to offer the IB Career-related Programme. Staff wellbeing is a key priority, and a range of activities and initiatives are available to support this.

Warminster is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Appointments are subject to the completion of an enhanced DBS check and receipt of satisfactory references.

This is a term-time only position and can be offered either on a full-time basis (35 hours per week across five days) or part-time basis (18 hours per week with flexible working days).
