Learning Officer Lead
Join the IBCC’s Education Team and lead the delivery of powerful, curriculum‑linked learning experiences rooted in remembrance, recognition and reconciliation. We’re looking for a dynamic, organised and creative Learning Officer Lead to shape our schools, youth and community learning programmes. This is an exciting time to join the IBCC with expansion plans underway for a new Learning Centre – you’ll be front and centre of working with us to deliver those plans.
What you’ll do
- Lead and motivate the Learning Team and volunteers
- Deliver high‑quality onsite, outreach and online learning sessions
- Grow our education offer, including STEM and SEND provision
- Manage bookings, communications, invoicing and visitor experience
- Build partnerships with schools, universities and heritage organisations
- Oversee budgets, rotas, HR processes and record‑keeping
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR and health & safety
What you’ll bring
- Experience managing staff or volunteers
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Background in education, heritage or community learning
- Knowledge of curriculum needs, including STEM and SEND
- A positive, flexible approach (weekend/evening work required)

Pay: Up to £30,500.00 per year
Based at: International Bomber Command Centre, Lincoln
