Role Salary: £42,750 per year

Role Location: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in-person working)

Role Hours: 35 hours per week

The vacancy

You’ll play a key part in bringing our Learning & Inclusion offer to life - designing and delivering creative, accessible learning that supports colleagues and volunteers to be their best. You’ll lead on the charity investment into utilising our apprenticeships levy through programmes of work.

About the role

Whether it’s developing a new learning offer to delivering one of our core accredited programmes you’ll play a pivotal role in parting knowledge and skills. This role will include delivering workshops, developing digital content, and supporting leadership development, you’ll work with teams and volunteers across the charity to support their learning needs.

What you'll do

  • Lead, design and deliver engaging learning sessions, both in person and virtual for colleagues and volunteers, and own the delivery of our various learning programmes

  • Connect with stakeholders to identify learning needs and work with teams to find the right solutions to support their development

  • Maintain and develop our learning resources, processes and systems, including supporting our LMS development and e-learning offer

  • Work closely with our incredible volunteers across the four nations to support their development

  • Oversee the end-to-end apprenticeship program, providing direct mentorship and development for early-career apprentices.

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience of designing and delivering impactful, inclusive learning initiatives for both colleagues, with the ability to develop rich and impactful training, both in person and virtual

  • Proven ability to influence and work collaboratively, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with colleagues and volunteers at all levels

  • An engaging presentation style with the ability to hold an audience in the learning space, and strong facilitation skills, able to leverage high EQ to deliver transformative, impactful experiences with a wide variety of audiences

  • Experience in apprenticeship levy and/or apprenticeships

  • Creative thinker with a genuine interest in and understanding of learning and development and an understanding and incorporation of inclusive learning
