(Independent Sexual Violence Advisor)

Are you an experienced ISVA ready to take a pivotal role in supporting our ISVA team whilst shaping and developing our ISVA service?

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a strong commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders. We are also looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support to survivors of sexual violence.

This leadership role will work closely with the Deputy CEO who holds overall accountability for the ISVA service. Together you will ensure the ISVA team is well-supported as the service continues to grow, maintaining the highest standards of client care.

About the Organisation

Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland (RCTN) is a charity that provides services to women and girls aged 13+, who live, work or study in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. Our services are for those who have experienced sexual violence and abuse at any times in their lives. We offer a range of specialist services including Counselling, Helpline, ISVA and Trauma Informed Groups.

Key Facts

Salary:                       NJC 28 £37,938 per anum (pro rata for part time employees).

Hours of work:       Up to 25 hours per week to be worked flexibly as agreed.

Location:                  Hybrid. Minimum of one day per week in our Newcastle City Centre office.

Duration:                  Fixed term until 31 March 2028 (subject to funding beyond this date).
