Lead Detached Youth Worker

£15,600- £16,640 pa (£31,200 – £33,280 pro rata)

20 hours /week (includes some evenings and work during school holidays)

Until August 2029

The Rock is seeking to appoint an experienced youth worker with excellent youth engagement skills and a proven collaborative approach to lead The Rock’s detached youth work.

The Rock, based at St Peter’s Church in Cheltenham, is a youth work charity with a supportive Christian ethos that provides quality open access youth work projects, engaging daytime educational support and transformational community engagement initiatives. The Rock has been delivering detached youth work successfully for over 5 years, this role has arisen as the detached work is expanding due to secured funding.

You will have successful experience of youth work, including detached youth work (or similar) an ability to lead sessional team members and a track record of working effectively with partner organisations. Level 3 Youth Work Qualification (or similar) is required.
