Hours: Part‑time -20hrs (including Sundays; flexible ministry time – to be confirmed at interview)

Reporting to: CCEMC Minister

Contract: 3yr Fixed‑term

Purpose: To provide pastoral, spiritual, and ministry leadership to the Cantonese-speaking congregation, with additional involvement in Junior Church and wider church life.

Epsom Methodist Church (EMC) is seeking a Cantonese‑speaking Lay Pastor to support, lead, and grow the Chinese Congregation (CCEMC). The successful candidate will provide pastoral care, preaching, teaching, discipleship support, and help strengthen family and children’s ministries.

Since the establishment of the Chinese Congregation (CCEMC) in 1998, the ministry has grown to serve Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking believers through culturally relevant worship, teaching, and fellowship. CCEMC forms an integral part of the EMC family, contributing to worship, outreach, and discipleship across all age groups.
