The Role
We are seeking an experienced, inspirational Year 5 teacher who is passionate about making a lasting difference to children’s lives. You will:
• Take responsibility for the learning, progress, and achievement of all pupils.
• Deliver a well-sequenced, engaging curriculum that meets the needs of every learner.
• Use effective assessment and feedback to secure strong outcomes.
• Create a safe, respectful, and purposeful learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external partners to support pupils’ academic and personal development.
• Contribute positively to the wider life and continuous improvement of the school.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching KS2, particularly Upper Key Stage 2
• Delivers high-quality, inclusive teaching with strong subject knowledge
• Is passionate about children’s learning and welfare
• Is a reflective, proactive mindset and commitment to pupil success.
• Is a values-led individual with high expectations for themselves and others.
• Is a positive, inspiring classroom practitioner and team player.
